Aside from enjoying a view like this while driving around the peninsula, what is going to Okinawa be, without the snorkeling.
…And what is Snorkeling, without an accessible beach right in front of your room.
That is why we opted for the affordable Marine Mate for our place to stay in Okinawa.
They have a small pool but it was just 5 minutes walk to the beach from our room. Although finally we followed their snorkeling tour because we wanna go further.
Marine Mate offers various water activities (canoeing, Diving, snorkeling) with lunch included. We opted the snorkel half day trip (09-12noon) for two days in a row.
We went on their boat to Yonehara. But our favorite spot would be the one near the Ishigaki island peninsula. They helped us to meet and greet the sea creatures. They even grabbed a Fugu for us to pet. The Fugu fish didn’t look happy though.
Traveling the island on a rental car, we also went to discover the Sabiti cave that led to the wide sea.
And of course tried the local Goya Champuru and Okinawa style Yakisoba during our stroll in the city.
